Nursery or Reception Class TA/Early Years Support Worker - Grade 6/8

Overview

We are seeking two outstanding, energetic, and inspirational individuals to join our nursery or Reception team as a Grade 6 or 8 Early Years Teaching Assistant/Support Worker to support children in whole-class teaching and small-group or individual interventions. 

Church Cowley St James C of E Primary School is proud to have such a beautiful nursery, Wilderness Nursery and Early Years reception Classrooms. Our building(s), provision and outdoor space for children in Nursery and Reception classes are exceptional.

Wilderness Nursery is for children who are 3 or 4 years old, attending 38 weeks per year. Our Reception classes are part of the main school of Church Cowley St James Primary School.

Job Details

As a Grade 6, you will be expected to work in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher, work may include 1:1, small group work or interventions. As a Grade 8, you will also be expected to provide occasional whole-class cover. The right people will be dedicated to improving outcomes for all children, both emotionally and educationally.

Salary & Benefits

Candidates for a Grade 6 position may have little or no experience but are quick learners and keen to do well.

Candidates for a Grade 8 position should have experience working in an early years setting, both roles require those who are committed to developing children academically, socially and emotionally.

Grade 6: £13.47 ph; £19,043 (Actual)

Grade 8: £15.84  ph; £22,692 (Actual)
